Adventures in Dangerous Art
I'm learning the art (or is it a craft?) of stained glass. At this weblog, I record progress, note useful links, and document flesh wounds.

im really anxious to see what this looks like once it's finished. how're you doing in the must-replace-the-windows-for-maximum-aesthetic-appeal department?

Hi Jessica,

No movement there yet. Have been up to my neck in being a good and productive citizen for the last week. I end up leading in furtive little ten-minute breaks, in between panicking over the length of my to-do list. In that fashion I'm now up to two flowers (out of the 10 total per window) leaded, but certainly there's been no time to be hauling pieces of my house around town.

Shame too... it was 75 degrees here just two days ago, would've been the perfect day to have a hole in my house where a window used to be for a couple hours. It's back to gray-and-frigid here again now.

last week we had a dose of grey and frigid here in dallas/ft. worth. it was 80 one day, 75 the next, then that night a front came thru, and it's been in the 20s overnight every day since, and about 40 for a high during the day. we had one day of ice and snow, but it didnt stick in most places because the ground was too warm.

enjoy the warm while you can.
