Adventures in Dangerous Art
I'm learning the art (or is it a craft?) of stained glass. At this weblog, I record progress, note useful links, and document flesh wounds.

It's a glass cutter.
October 24, 2006: 3 Photographs

Workboards? Check.

Hacksaw blade? Check.

Actual decisions on framing? Check.

Production pattern? Getting very close.

I don't know, kids, if I didn't know any better, I'd say this was starting to look like a glass project.

One of the workboards for one of the dogwood windows, with a draft pattern and cut-to-size zinc too.

Also, it was pointed out to me that I was remiss in not providing photos of the new doggie (named Polar), the new kitty (provisionally named Sassy), or the new hair (named "total lack of upward mobility"). Since time for a typical rambling glass-work entry is most scarce indeed this last week or so, I might as well oblige:

Polar's face just screams 'I wasn't done being the cute new pet yet!'

Photo credit: Don. Yes, he's a fan of the hair.

Hi Michelle,

Love the new pets; love your cabinets; and love your hair. You are as pretty as ever! (-:

Glad to see you are updating regularly.

Take care,

Johannah

Le sigh. Just managed to delete 2 comments from here while contending with the latest onslaught of spambots. I keep meaning to make the time to implement a permanent solution; perhaps sooner rather than later is the way to go.

What did you use to get your hair that red?
